NDC National Executive Committee meets

The National Executive Committee (NEC) of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) will be meeting on Wednesday ahead of a major press conference.

The meeting is expected to be chaired by National Chairman Kofi Portuphy, who is also lined up to address the press. The meeting is said to be about recent happening in the country especially the upsurge of political vigilantism by members of the ruling party.

The NDC, which is three months in opposition, is also expected to address issues to do with the Dr Kwesi Botchwey election review committee, which is almost done with its work. Calls have been made by some members of the party – notably the cadres – to have an early congress. This is expected to come up at the meeting.
