NDC MP to NPP: Even if you worship Akufo-Addo, respect Mahama

There appears to be a new god members of the New Patriotic Party worship, and that is Nana Akufo Addo, claims an NDC MP.

According to Hon. Joseph Appiah Boateng, if you dare speak ill of him, consider yourself a dead man walking. He made this observation on Okay FM’s Ade Akye Abia Morning Show when he phoned in to debunk accusations leveled against President John Mahama.

Hon. Mr. Joseph Appiah Boateng’s intervention came after Mr. Bernard Antwi Boasiako aka Chairman “Wontumi” used the same platform to allege that President Mahama spends more time at discos than in performing his presidential duties.

The aspiring NPP Ashanti Regional Chair minced no words in describing President John Dramani Mahama as a regular disco attendee who placed his dancing skills ahead of presidential duties.

The NPP stalwart stated that President Mahama’s official trip to Dubai during the latter days of last year’s Christmas, was a complete waste of state resources.

Pressed by the host of the show to provide evidence as to where the President enjoys hanging out at these night clubs, Mr. Antwi Boasiako responded by stating that: “President Mahama is clearly a selfish man. He only cares about his family and not Ghanaians”.

Obviously riled by Mr. Boasiako’s comment, the NDC MP warned that it is high time NPP members accorded President Mahama the respect he deserves.

He posited that even if NPP members regarded Nana Akufo-Addo as their god and worshipped him, it doesn’t mean they should prevent Cesar from having his share.

He ended by advising Mr. Boasiako to bear in mind that vying for a leadership position in politics goes with the use of decorous language.
