Parliamentary candidate for the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) with the Akyem Swedru constituency Hon. Robert Ansah has expressed excitement following a visit by the the wife of the Vice President, Mrs. Amissah Arthur to the constituency.
Mrs. Amissah Arthur was at Akyem Eduasa when she attended the constituency Women’s Conference. Hon. Ansah made it known that the visit has encouraged the entire constituents, since she took her time addressing issues.
Speaking in interview with Nyankonton Mu Nsem’s Prince Collins Bening, Mr. Ansah said, the visit by the 2nd Lady was strategic and historic for the party.
Her visit, he explained encouraged women in the area and urged them to place premium on the education of daughters especially.
Mrs. Amissah-Arthur, he added admonished party faithfuls to campaign vigorously to ensure victory for the party; and further advised them to desist from politics of insults, vilification and focus on the campaign message and the achievements of the Mahama-Amissah Arthur lead team.
