NDC Launches Campaign on Saturday

NDC has finally fixed Saturday, September 25, 2004 as the day for the launching of its campaign for the 2004 electioneering.

According to Dr. Obed Asamoah, the National Chairman of the Party, all was set for Party members from all over the country to symbolically usher in the campaign that would enable the NDC return to power in the general election.

In an interview in Accra, Dr. Asamoah said the launch would focus on the campaign messages of the Party and also explain to Ghanaians what alternatives the NDC had in store for them. He, however, denied speculations that the Party was not mounting the types of imposing billboards and posters of its flagbearer throughout the length and breath of the country like what it did prior to the 2000 elections because it was cash-strapped.
