NDC Lacked Courage – Abeasi

The Chief Executive of the Ghana Investment Promotion Centre (GIPC), Mr. Kwasi Abeasi, has stated that the country had not succeeded in the past because the previous government did not have the gut to take realistic decisions.

According to him, it is important for Ghanaians to realize that “When you have a Government that at a risk of being unpopular, is prepared to take hard but necessary decisions, then, we should rally behind it”.

He pointed out that the government was becoming more realistic with national budget, a trend which he said, should give hope to Ghanaians.

He was addressing a seminar on the 2003 Budget in London.
