NDC journalists hoarding stolen State vehicles – Adomako Baafi

A Deputy Communications Director of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Yaw Adomako Baafi is appealing to members of the presidential taskforce tasked to retrieve state vehicles to raid the homes of supposed National Democratic Congress (NDC) journalists.

He alleged that some that the erstwhile government gifted the journalists some of the vehicles and the possibility they could be hoarding them in their homes is high.

“I know hosts of some radio stations who are hiding some of the cars in their homes and their villages. How can you build a house worth over GH¢200,000 and driving a Landcruiser Prado? We need to interrogate how they made money to buy some of these cars they have been changing.

Journalists who should have been the first estate of the realm and the mirror of society are more corrupt than even the politician”, he alleged.

According to him, one of the journalists he failed to name in less than two years under the NDC government acquired properties beyond comprehension.

“What the NDC has embezzled is enough……they should leave the Ghana group to fix the economy they have messed up”, he added.

He blamed the defeat of the NDC to the neglect of its foot soldiers and encouraging expatriate Chinese to take over the retail business to the disadvantage of the common Ghanaian.

This is said led to many youth in the NDC thrown out of business while those who were appointed to various positions enjoyed their loot from the state.

“We have seen Chinese roasting and selling maize a trade that hitherto was meant for only locals. This is what the NDC government turned our government into making us foreigners in our own land. They neglected those who helped them to win power and people are bitter leading to their defeat”, he revealed.
