NDC Is “Kweku Ananse” Gov’t– John Boadu

Former National Youth Organizer of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), John Boadu, has accused the ruling government of unnecessary leakage of inconclusive committee report findings and vital documents.

Citing the GT/Vodafone Committee and GH@50 Commission of Inquiry Reports as examples, Mr. Boadu described the current NDC administration as an “irresponsible” and a “Kweku Ananse” government.

“Kwame, as a responsible government, you set up a committee and the committee presents its report. Then whilst there is no official comment on the report, portions of it are found to be in circulation. What kind of government is this? All they do is leak information and hurling of insults at its political opponents,” he alleged.

Contributing to a panel discussion on Peace FMs “Kokrokoo”, Mr. Boadu, who is aspiring for the position of National Organiser in the forthcoming NPP’s National Delegates Congress, said “what bothers me is that this government is being disingenuous to us.when information is leaked to pro-NDC papers, then it is correct (true), when other newspapers get hold of such privileged information, they are labeled and tagged as anti-development and detractors,” he said.

According to John Boadu, government’s investigations of EO, an oil company, which has 3 and half percent shares in the Jubilee Oil Fields, is politically motivated. He emphatically stated that the EO group is being investigated “simply because of their association with former President J. A. Kufuor.”
