NDC instigating Kwabena Agyapong’s law suit against me – Wontumi cries

The embattled Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Bernard Antwi Boasiako has leveled another allegation against the suspended General Secretary of the party, Kwabena Agyei Agyapong.

According to the Regional Chairman, the defamatory suit brought against him by the lawyers of Kwabena Agyei Agyapong is being instigated by faceless persons within the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC).

“I know some people in the NDC who are pushing him to sue me”, Mr. Bernard Antwi Boasiako alleged Wednesday during live radio interview on Kumasi-based Nhyira FM morning.

Lawyers for the suspended General Secretary have directed the Regional Chairman to render an unqualified apology or sue him for defamatory statements he allegedly made on the station against the NPP stalwart.

Responding to the threats on the same network, Mr. Bernard Antwi Boasiako said, he owes Kwabena Agyei Agyapong no apology indicating he is yet to receive any writ from the complainant’s lawyers.

“I will not apologise to Kwabena Agyei Agyapong today, tomorrow and the days to come”, the outspoken Regional Chairman fumed on the station when given the opportunity to retract his earlier allegations

“What for?, Bernard Antwi Boasiako quizzed on Nhyira FM morning show hosted by Aduanaba Kofi Asante Ennin.

“I standby everything I have said. …I am also ready to meet him in court with my lawyers”, the young Regional Chairman said.

Meanwhile, management of the station has distanced itself from all the allegations made since it has no evidence to back those claims published on their network.
