NDC impressed with newly elected Executives – Asiedu Nketia

The General Secretary of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC), Johnson Asiedu Nketia says the leadership of the party is impressed with the quality of the new executives that have been elected by delegates.

According to him, the caliber of people who have been elected reflect the future aspirations of the party

Former President Rawlings who is founder of the party has raised concerns with the quality of some of the individuals in executive positions and called on delegates to vote them out.

But speaking to Citi FM on Friday, Asiedu Nketia said the delegates have been discerning their votes.

“So far so good, we are impressed with the quality of the people who have been elected so far”.

He, however, downplayed fears that court injunctions are hampering the smooth running of the elections, which are still ongoing in the regions.
