NDC has something good to offer the nation – MP

Kumasi, Jan 26, GNA – Alhaji Mohammed Muntaka Mubarak, Member of Parliament for Asawase said the National Democratic Congress (NDC) was capable of improving on the nation’s socio-economic development to benefit the masses.

He therefore challenged the various political parties to put aside their ideological differences and contribute their quota towards achieving Ghana’s development agenda.

Alhaji Mubarak was addressing a thanksgiving rally at the Dogo Moro Park of the Asawase Constituency at the weekend.

Supporters of the NDC, Democratic Freedom Party (DFP), People’s National Convention (PNC) and Convention People’s Party (CPP) attended the rally which was also aimed at unifying supporters of the various political parties in the constituency for social harmony. The MP observed that the NDC had something good to offer the nation contrary to views and speculations by critics that the party would not be able to deliver on its campaign promises. “The NDC has a good track record of supporting the masses with viable programmes and we would continue to consolidate this enviable record as time would prove”.

Alhaji Mubarak cautioned Ghanaians not to put pressure on the new government as to who should be appointed for which position. He said those acts could derail the focus of government in appointing qualified and experienced people. 26 Jan. 09
