NDC has collapsed school feeding – Amoako Tuffour

The former National Coordinator of the Ghana School Feeding Programme has accused the National Democratic Congress (NDC) of destroying the programme.

Speaking on Atinka AM Drive Monday, Dr. Amoako Tuffour mentioned that the programme under the Kufour administration was flourishing. He added that this is the more reason why Ghanaians should give the NPP the chance to come back to power and revive the programme and other social interventions that the NDC has succeeded in destroying.

According to Dr. Amoako Tuffour, the school feeding programme under the current government has no direction and that it is being on a ‘try and error’ basis.

He explained that the NPP during their tenure had laid down policies with which they executed the school feeding program efficiently and effectively and that the NDC has ignored these policies, causing the programme to collapse.

He stressed on the fact that Ghanaians should stop politicizing the school feeding program and concentrate on bringing the initiators of the programme back to continue with what they started.
