NDC Grows Impatient

The former Chief of Staff, Nana Ato Dadzie says the former NDC government and all of its functionaries who benefitted from the Ex-Gratia award are still waiting to be invited by government to a proposed meeting to deal with the issue.

In a letter to the Minister of Presidential Affairs, Nana Dadzie wrote: “Following our protest letter of 19/03/2001 to the subject matter above(Ex- Gratia Awards) you addressed a letter dated 20/3/2001 to the controller and Accountant General and copied to the Minister of Media Relations, The Hon. Attorney General and the former Chief of Staff of the NDC government Nana Ato Dadzie”, requesting the Accountant General to convey to the current Chief of Staff when he would be available to meet all parties “on this matter”.

According to Nana Dadzie the said letter is to remind the office of the Chief of Staff that he and all others mentioned in the ex-gratia award are still standing by to be invited to the said meeting.
