NDC extends Christmas and New Year messages

Accra, December 23, GNA- The National Democratic Congress (NDC) on Tuesday called on Ghanaians to prepare themselves for better times ahead in which they could share the joy of Christmas more meaningfully with radiant hope.

The call was made in a Christmas and New Year Message issued in Accra and signed by the General Secretary, Dr Nii Josiah-Aryeh. It said, “although economic conditions have deteriorated sharply and it is rough and tough for the average Ghanaian, let us count our blessings and give thanks to God for our lives and for seeing us through yet another year”.

The message said as Ghanaians make resolutions for the New Year they must not forget the condition of the country because the nation needs all of them alive to work hard for more joyous Christmas in the coming years.

“As we travel to join our relations and friends to celebrate Christmas and the New Year, let us be mindful of safety on the roads and conscious of the need to improve living conditions in the year ahead”, it said. The message extended seasonal greetings from Professor John Evans Atta-Mills, the NDC flag-bearer, the National Executive Committee and the members to Ghanaians.
