NDC elects Parliamentary Candidate for New Juaben South

Koforidua, Oct. 19, GNA – An official of the Community Water and Sanitation Agency (CWSA), Mr Kwasi Djan-Tutu has been elected as the Parliamentary Candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) for the New Juaben South Constituency.

He polled 121 votes to beat two other contestants, Ms Rosemary Tete, who had 28 votes and Nana Opoku Nunkyire, who polled 24 votes. The Eastern Regional Organiser of the NDC, Mr Tawiah Boateng told the Party supporters to be vigilant to expose any electoral malpractices that could mar the chances of the Party to re-capture political power. Mr Djan-Tutu called on the media to be circumspect in their reportage and give fair coverage to all the political parties.

He also urged the security service to be firm in the discharge of their duties.
