NDC elects candidate for Builsa North

Sandema (U/E), July 22, GNA- Mr. Timothy Atabode of the Commission for Human Rights and Administrative Justice (CHRAJ) is the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Parliamentary candidate for Builsa North Constituency.

Mr. Atabode polled 79 votes to beat Mr. Daniel Syme, former District Chief Executive in the NDC regime who had 58 votes. Mr. Atabode thanked the delegates for the confidence reposed in him and urged the youth to be his foot soldiers in order to win the Builsa seat.

He assured his supporters of victory in December electios. Mr. Syme congratulated Mr. Atabode and wished him success in the forthcoming elections.

He said the party’s interest should supersede that of an individual, and pledged his support for Mr Atabode.
