NDC, EC printing fake pink sheets to counter evidence – Kofi Jumah alleges

Former New Patriotic Party (NPP) Member of Parliament for Asokwa, Maxwell Kofi Jumah, is accusing the NDC’s Ras Mubarak of conniving with some Electoral Commission (EC) officials to print new pink sheets to counter NPP’s evidence that will be presented at the Supreme Court.

Addressing hundreds of party supporters at the launch of ‘Let My Vote Counts Alliance’ over the weekend in Kumasi, the former legislator alleged that, ‘Last Sunday (January 20, 2013) Ras Mubarak was at West Legon in Accra printing fake pink sheets that will be used as evidence at the Supreme Court.

“I also had information that Dr. Afari Gyan has hired some miscreants to append their signatures to some of the sheets which have no signatures. But I want them to know that they will be at the Supreme Court under oath and if they lie I will expose them”.

Mr Jumah however assured the supporters that he will come out at the appropriate time to strip naked some EC officials who are working in the interest of the NDC.

The group is currently canvassing for support to back the NPP’s election petition at the Supreme Court.
