Akyem Ofoase, Jan. 10, GNA -The National Democratic Congress (NDC) Government is determined to develop the Akyemmansa District , one of the districts created five years ago from the then Birim North District, to enable it to overcome its numerous challenges.
Mr Tom Budu, District Chief Executive (DCE), made this known in an interview with the Ghana News Agency at Akyem Ofoase on Tuesday where he outlined a number of challenges confronting the district and efforts being made to address them.
He said apart from the deplorable nature of roads in the hinterlands making transportation of people, goods and services very difficult, the district capital had none of its roads tarred.
Mr Budu said the road leading to the district capital was so bad that travelers were forced to alight at a certain point and do the remaining distance’
