NDC crushing our democratic gains – NPP

A Deputy Communications Director of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) , Anthony Karbo has said there is a conscious attempt by the ruling National Democratic Congress( NDC) government to crush the efforts of the biggest opposition NPP in the democratic dispensation of Ghana.

“There is an attack on our democracy and we have to rise and salvage it before it gets worse”, Karbo told Fiifi Banson on Anopa Kasapa on Kasapa 102.3 FM Thursday.

He said such an attack on the biggest opposition NPP was literally a direct attack on democracy, which he says, can be dangerous to the progress of the nation at large.

The biggest opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) is accusing government for the raid that happened at the party’s headquarters Monday.

A Deputy Director of Communications for the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), Anthony Abayefa Karbo told Fiifi Banson on Anopa Kasapa on Kasapa 102.3 FM that “this was a state sponsored raid and was orchestrated by the ruling government”.

Speaking on Kasapa 102.3 FM, Karbo said the party will embark on a crusade dubbed #Red Friday to address the “outrageous and orchestrated raid at the party headquarters.

Karbo said the general public, especially supporters of the NPP are expected to wear red attire and red arm bands tomorrow in solidarity with the party leadership to address the nation on the falling democracy of the West African nation.
