NDC coalition condemns seizure of NHIS office

The Coalition of NDC Youth Groups in the Northern Region has condemned the seizure of the National Health Insurance Scheme’s office in Tamale a couple of days ago.

The youth who locked up the office did so in protest to the appointment of one Patrick Kuagbenu as the Metropolitan Scheme Manager.

But Secretary to the NDC’s Northern Youth Coalition Mubasin Majeed Durra described the lock out by the unidentified youth as unfair and dissociated the Coalition from the action taken by the youth.

“We are here to declare that none of our Youth groups were involved in this action and we don’t endorse it. We have never endorsed such attacks”.

Mubasin Durra on behalf of the Coalition also appealed to the President to appoint anybody he feels has the needed competence to help his government.
