NDC Chiana-Paga primaries to be held today

The Chiana Paga constituency of the National Democratic Congress will today hold its parliamentary primaries to elect a candidate for the general polls slated for November 7, 2016.

The primary originally scheduled for July 9 was postponed to today July 16 due to the delay and supply of election materials.

Incumbent MP and former GYEEDA coordinator, Abuga Pele will contest with two others in the race.

Meanwhile, a similar primaries is expected to take place in the Nkwanta South constituency of the Volta region to elect a nominee to contest for NDC in the 2016 elections.
