Mr Mohammed Bashiru Nii Narh Alema, the newly-elected Constituency Chairman of the Korle Klotey branch of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has given the assurance that he would ensure close collaboration with the branches to enhance effective organization towards the 2016 general elections.
He said he would ensure peace and unity among the branch executives, and also display an open door policy to keep them abreast with on-going activities in the constituency.
Mr Alema gave the assurance in an interview with the Ghana News Agency on Wednesday to outline his plans for the constituency.
He said, “A close working relationship with the women and the youth wings to rejuvenate and encourage them to enter into viable job creation initiatives enshrined in the party’s manifesto, are some of my plans.”
The NDC Constituency Chairman asked the rank and file to exhibit virtues such as loyalty and commitment, and appealed to all those who lost the elections to consider the event as a family affair, and refrain from utterances that would divide the ranks of members .
