NDC candidate appeals to politicians to speak the truth

The Central Region Youth Organiser of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mr. Samuel Ato Amoah, has appealed to politicians and the media to give accurate information to Ghanaians.

He said this would enable the people to make informed choices in the upcoming elections.

Mr. Amoah, who is also the NDC parliamentary candidate for Twifu Atti Mokwaa constituency, made the appeal at a rally at Twifu Praso.

He said “Telling lies to Ghanaians to deceive them to vote for a particular party or person will not help the country.”

“Let us make them see things in their right perspective. By telling lies to the people, you would be doing a great disservice to the nation which would lead the people to vote for the wrong persons.”

He asked those aspiring for political positions to tell the electorate things they would be able to do and stop promising the electorate “heaven” when they know they would not be able to fulfill their promises.**
