NDC campaign cars hit streets in BA

The Mahindra pick-ups which were said to be the property of the National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE) but rebranded in National Democratic Congress (NDC) colours for the 2016 campaign have finally hit the streets of the Brong Ahafo Region.

2015 number plates from the Driver’s and Vehicle Licensing Authority (DVLA) were fixed on the brand new vehicles with President Mahama’s portraits at the Sunyani magazine instead of the premises of the DVLA.

The 29 Mahindra vehicles, which were originally packed at the residence of the regional minister, Eric Opoku have been distributed to various constituencies.

The NDC parliamentary candidates are currently embossing their pictures on them for the 2016 campaign.

DAILY GUIDE has gathered that each constituency received a Mahindra pick-up. Reports said the vehicles were driven to the location at night.

It is also unclear why 2015 number plates had been fixed on the said vehicles.
