NDC-Atlanta Mourns The Passing On Of President Mills

It is with deep sorrow and sadness that the Atlanta Chapter of the National Democratic Congress mourns the passing on of H.E. President Evans Attah Mills, whose sudden death occurred at the 37 Military Hospital on July 24th 2012.
Members of this Chapter have been very supportive of the former President’s “Better Ghana Agenda” since he assumed office in 2009, and believe that his selfless leadership qualities, his fear of God, his humility, his patriotism and altruism, to the extent that he decided to forgo his per diem as a President, should serve as part of the biggest legacy that the ‘Asomdwe Hene’ left behind.
This Chapter entreats all Ghanaians, both at home and in the diaspora to put politics aside and remember the former First Lady Mrs. Naadu Mills and her entire family in prayers in this difficult time. Without any hesitation whatsoever, we all can attest to the fact that the late President indeed was a good man. He served Ghana to the best of his strength and ability and would forever be remembered. May His Soul Rest in Perfect Peace!
