NDC aspirant appeals to delegates to vote for him

Koforidua, Oct 11, GNA – Mr Isaac Livingstone Asamoah, an educationist contesting the New Juaben North Parliamentary constituency primary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), on Tuesday appealed to delegates to vote for him at the primary. Mr Asamoah, who expressed optimism of winning the seat for the NDC in 2012, said that could only be possible when delegates gave him the nod. Outlining his vision during an interaction with supporters in Koforidua, he said Youth in Science Education would be his priority when given the nod.

Mr Asamoah said those of them who were needy but brilliant would receive scholarship to further their education. He would also establish a health fund that would cater for the health needs of the people in the constituency. Mr Asamoah said there would be a 93revolving fund” to give loans to market women in the constituency to assist them to expand their businesses. He appealed to delegates to stay united before, during and after the primary to enable the NDC retain power in 2012.
