NDC activists advised to close ranks

Mamponteng (Ash), March 30, GNA – The Kwabre East Constituency Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mr Awal Aziz, has asked the party’s activists to close their ranks and work hard to promote its growth. He said it was time they did away with backbiting, apathy, “pull-him-down attitude” and other negative acts that were unhelpful to the cohesion of the party.

Speaking in an interview with the Ghana News Agency at Mamponteng, Mr Aziz said the task ahead for the NDC in the 2012 election was challenging and should not be underestimated.

He said it was important they kept their house in order and put in place effective political education campaign to help Ghanaians to become better informed about Government’s policies and programmes. He said the constituency has lined up series of programmes to tour communities in the area to assist the people to understand the NDC’s ideology. Mr Aziz called for team work to enable the party to remain in power come the 2012 general elections.
