NDC activist donates motorbike to Nkoranza party office

Bono-Manso (B/A), June 27, GNA – Mr Joseph Mensah, Deputy Secretary of the Nkoranza North Constituency of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has donated a motorbike valued at GH¢,500.00 to the executives of the par= ty to facilitate their work.

Mr Mensah, a citizen of Bono-Manso and a professional teacher made the donation at a fund-raising harvest organised by the members and supporters of the party at the weekend. The fund-raising harvest was aimed at constructing an office accommodation for the party.

Mr Mensah said his gesture was to help address the transportation problems facing the constituency executives and facilitate the winning of more souls for the party towards the 2012 General Election. He urged the supporters of NDC to remain focused and guard against petty squabbles that could divide their ranks and affect the vote of the party in Election 2012.

Dr Kofi Amoako-Gyampah, NDC Constituency Chairman commended Mr Mensah for his generosity to the party saying his donation was a clear indication of his concern and commitment for the development of the political entity. He asked other NDC activists to emulate the example of Mr Mensah to enhance the growth of the party Mr Kwadwo Agyei-Dwomoh, District Chief Executive said the NDC government would remain committed to develop Bono-Manso. The Odikro of Bono-Manso, Nana Menka Ameyaw who presided over the ceremony called on the youth and supporters of the various political partie= s to avoid insults and provocative statements against their opponents for the sake of peace and understanding in the community.
