NDC activist commends President Akufo-Addo’s government

A Leading member of the National Democratic Congress in Awutu-Senya East, Mr Osei Kofi, has commended President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s government for efforts towards making Ghana better.

According to him, the government has exhibited prudence in the management of the economy since its assumption in office and the formation of its economic management team headed by Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.

Speaking at a press conference at Kasoa in the Central Region, leading NDC member stated that the former regime under former President John Dramani Mahama though did its part, the six months governance under President Akufo-Addo has been very impressive.

He disclosed that the visionary leadership of President Akufo-Addo had attracted huge external inflows running into billions of dollars to support government activities. He also lauded government for putting in place stringent measures to lay the Special Presecution bill before Parliament to be passed into law.

Mr. Osei praised government for special initiative policies and programmes outlined for implementation including; planting for food and jobs, free SHS, One-district-one-factory, and the one-million-dollars project mapped for 275 constituencies to fight poverty.

Mr. Osei maintained that certain positions on the part of some leaders in the NDC, precipitated the party’s humiliation in the 2016 elections.

He said there was hope for a better future and called for all Ghanaians to work collaboratively to stimulate quality living standards in the country, emphasizing the need for all people from the political divides to rally behind President Akufo-Addo in frantic efforts to achieve success in quality governance.
