Bohomoden (B/A) Aug. 6, GNA- Mr Alex Baffoe, NDC member in Techiman Municipality has called on Ghanaians to vote massively for the party’s Flagbearer, Professor John Evans Atta Mills. Addressing separate meetings with ward executives in some towns in the municipality, he said Prof Mills is internationally recognised on taxation and would not let the country down.
Mr. Baffoe asked the people to dismiss NPP’s allegations that the NDC was pursuing an agenda of violence.
“Such statements by the NPP are political gimmicks meant to put fear in the electorate and discredit the leadership of the NDC”, he said. He said the NDC would continue to pursue a campaign based on truth, unlike the NPP, which deceived Ghanaians during the 2000 election campaign.
“The leadership of the NPP have woefully failed Ghanaians and have placed their individual and personal interests above that of the nation”, he added.
