NDC accuses NPP of busing in support for NDP congress

The Ashanti regional Secretary of the National Democratic Congress, Joseph Yammin is accusing the largest opposition party in the country of busing their members to the region to participate in the congress of the National Democratic Party at the Baba Yara Stadium today.

A portion of a statement issued by the Regional Secretary reads “our intelligence indicates that the largest opposition is supplying their members to show non-existent support for the new Party’s congress”.

Joseph Yammin says the NPP members are drawn from the Northern, Brong Ahafo and parts of the Ashanti region to provide support for the NDP.

He says the members and sympathizers of the NDC should however remain focused and intensify the grassroots mobilization the party has embarked upon. He adds that the NDC’s one-on-one strategy is a more viable way to go about the campaign to enable the ruling party win more votes than it did in the previous general elections.
