NCOGA Hosts 2009 Mother of All Picnics in NY

It is Summer time and a lot of picnics are taking place but August 1, 2009 is the date to mark on your calendars. The National Council of Ghanaian Associations (NCOGA) 2009 Annual picnic dubbed; The Mother of All Picnics is scheduled to take place on that Saturday at the beautiful Roy Wilkins Park, 119th Avenue and Merrick Blvd in Jamaica, Queens.

Just in case you want to be part of this great occasion, it is going to be a day full of fun and networking. The following are what is going to happen at the picnic-

Live performances headlined by; TIC TAC, one of the top Hiplife artistes who is celebrating a decade of excellence in showbiz, renowned Reggae artist, John Q and other guest performers.

There will be various activities including soccer and volley ball.

Doctors on the Hudson and the Ghanaian Nurses Association will also be on hand to provide various types of health screening.

A Ghanaian Cultural Extravaganza, a taste of Ghana combined with traditional drumming and youth performances!

This event is an opportunity to get-away and meeting old friends, make new friends and network.

All Vendors are required to pay their fees on or before July 31, 2009 in order to be allowed to exhibit their wares.
