NCOGA Gives to Black Stars

Mr. Ernest Atta Amoyaw The President of National Council of Ghanaian Association(NCOGA), has presented an amount(CHEQUE) of $2000 to the Black Stars through the Consulate General of the Ghana Mission, NY Hon. Obeng Gyan Busia, last weekend at a brief presentation ceremony but very impressive.

“This is the NCOGA’s widow-mite to the Black Stars for their impressive performance in the on-going World Cup Tournament in Germany and also this is to encourage and urged them to go for the gold, to die a little bit for Mother Ghana and Africa Continent.” Mr. Atta Amoyaw said.

Hon. Obeng Busia, receiving the cheque on behalf of the Ministry of Sports thanked the NCOGA for their kind gesture and urged other association in the USA to emulate the shining example of the NCOGA.

The Consulate General of the Ghana Mission in NY promised to send the money to appropriate quarters for the intended purpose of donating the cheque.

“The players should not be swallow headed but rather take the advice from the technical handlers and should not let the big names of the Brazilian side to put any fear in them and march them boot for boot, player by player and with much hope that at the end of the final whistle from the referee the Black Stars will have a suprise package by winning, Mr. Obeng Busia noted.

Present at the colorful ceremony were Ms. Rose Ivey Quasahie, the Deputy Executive Secretary General, Mr. Patrick Gyau of the NCOGA and some executives of the NCOGA.
