NCCE organises quiz competition for schools

Ansuaa Ababio Methodist JSS emerged the overall winner with 33 points in a quiz competition organized by Dormaa District Secretariat of the National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE).

Six basic schools took part in the competition that was aimed at promoting democracy and good governance in the country.

Dormaa JSS placed second with 28 points while Saint John’s International JSS took the third position with 27 points.

Agyeman Badu JSS placed fourth with 26 points, Baabianeha L/A JSS took the fifth position with 26 points while Presbyterian JSS had 17 points.

Mr. Mike Amponsah, District Director of the Commission, said the winning school would represent the district at the Regional level.

He commended the participating schools for their positive response and good performance.

The District Director said the Commission had sought sponsorship from some companies and institutions towards the organization of the competition.
