NCCE official enstooled chief

Marfukrom (E/R), March 3, GNA- Nana Yeboah Boakye, Akuapem South Director of the National Commission on Civic Education (NCCE) was at the week-end enstooled chief of Marfukrom near Nsawam in the Eastern Region. His stool name is Daasebra Yeboah Marfo IV and succeeded the late Baffour Oforiwah Marfo III.

The new chief swore an oath of allegiance to Nana Adu Korkor II, chief of Adoagyiri and Ankobeahene of Akyem Kotoku Traditional Area. Nana Marfo advised the people to register when the voters register is opened.

He called on the people to continue with their self-help and communal spirit to improve development projects. Nana Adu Korkor stressed the need for good sanitation and urged them to co-operate with the new chief to enhance development programmes in the area.
