NCC Congratulates Gas

The National Commission on Culture (NCC), on Friday commended the Ga Traditional Council, civil societies, authorities and organisations for ensuring peace during the recent ban on drumming and noise-making that preceded the Homowo celebrations.

A statement signed by Professor George Hagan, Chairman, NCC, said, “it is the hope of the Commission that the maturity, tolerance and mutual respect exhibited on all sides during the period will forever cement efforts at integrating our diverse peoples through the celebrations of our common humanity and fledgling nationhood.

It congratulated the President, members of the Ga Traditional Council and the people of Ga-Dangme State and wished them a happy Homowo festival.
