National Service personnel donates to Orphanage

Nkoranza (B/A) Aug 10, GNA – National Service personnel at Nkoranza have donated food items valued at about 1.8 million cedis to the Royale Child Foundation Orphanage in the town.

The items include 100 tubers of yam, a gallon of cooking oil, and cereal.

Mr Raphael Alorwu, District Coordinator of the National Service Scheme, told the Ghana News Agency that the donation was part of activities marking this year’s National Service week.

Miss Akosua Yeboah, a 40-year-old citizen of Nkoranza who is based in Belgium, has also presented second hand clothing and provisions worth three million cedis to the home.

Alhaji Braima Sammoh, founder of the home, expressed his gratitude to the donors.
