National Executive Committee of NASPA commends government

Accra, June 8, GNA – The National Executive Committee of National Service Personnel Association (NASPA), on Tuesday commended government, Board of Directors, the Executive Director and management of National Service Scheme (NSS), for the increase in the monthly allowance for National Service Personnel throughout the country. A statement issued in Accra and signed by Mr Gabriel Osei Junior, National President of the Association, expressed gratitude for the prompt release of funds for payment of arrears in respect of the increase from October 2009 to August 2010.

“We believe that this would go a long way to make the lives of service personnel better,” it added. The statement expressed appreciation to members of NASPA for their contributions and ideas towards reviving and sustaining the association. It assured the members that all the concerns raised during the recent national tour would be sent to the appropriate authorities for redress. 8 June 10
