National celebration of Eidul Adha changed

Accra, Dec. 29, GNA- The Eid Planning Committee, in conjunction with the Office of the National Chief Imam, has announced a change of venue for the national celebration of the Eidul Adha festival, from the Independence Square on Saturday, to the Trade Fair site in Accra.

A release issued from the Office of the National Imam in Accra, asked all Muslims to take note of the change and converge at the Trade fair at 0900 hours on December 30, 2006.

“Any inconvenience caused by this short notice is deeply regretted,” the statement said.
