NASPA elects national executive

Kumasi, April 6, GNA – Mr Gabriel Osei was elected President of the National Service Personnel Association (NASPA) at delegates congress in Kumasi. Other officers elected included Miss Vera Amenorpe, Secretary, Richard Offei, Financial Secretary, and Issahaku Alhassan, Organising Secretary. Mr Vincent Senam Kuagbenu, Executive Director of the National Service Scheme (NSS), counselled the new executive to be united, transparent and accountable in all their activities.

He pledged to provide NASPA with an office at the NSS secretariat in Accra,

computers and other office equipment to make the association more functional. The Ashanti Regional Director of NSS, Mr Kwesi Quainoo asked the executive to

work diligently and conscientiously to sustain the confidence and trust of the

members. Mr Osei thanked the delegates for their support and assured them that the

executive members would live up to expectation. 6 April 10
