Nanumba youth call for restraint

Accra, Jan. 18, GNA – The Nanumba Youth Association on Wednesday appealed to all factions in the Bimbila dispute to exercise restraint since violent attacks would not help to find solutions to the issue. A statement signed by Dr. H. A. Taher, President of the Association, also appealed to the Regional House of Chiefs to expedite action on their ruling.

It said the youth were doing all they could to bring a lasting solution to the problem.

“We also welcome any positive contribution from any group of people to finding a lasting solution to the problem.” Bimbila is under a night curfew following clashes between to factions in a chieftaincy dispute.
