The Nandom Youth Link (NYL), a local youth platform, on behalf of the people of Nandom in the Upper West Region, has expressed gratitude to President John Dramani Mahama for nominating Dr. Benjamin Bewa Kunbuor for the post of Defence Minister.
The youth expressed their appreciation to the President for the honour and confidence he has reposed in their Member of Parliament.
A statement signed by Mr. Polkuu Titus, President of the Youth Link, expressed the people’s confidence in Dr Kunbuor, saying that the wide range of experience he had acquired at the Ministries of Health, Interior, Justice, and as the Majority Leader in Parliament would enable him to assist the President in nation building.
The youth also congratulated Dr. Kunbuor on his new designation, and urged him to continue his good work in order to make the constituency and the entire nation proud of his leadership qualities.
The youth reassured President John Dramani Mahama of their support and readiness to help him to gain victory in the next election.
