Nana stands a good chance of winning 2016 elections – Rebecca Akufo-Addo

Rebecca Akufo-Addo, wife of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) flag bearer Nana Akufo-Addo believes her husband stands a good chance of winning this year’s presidential election.

In an exclusive interview with e.tv Ghana’s Kwame Gyan on “Sate of the Nation” show, Mrs Akufo-Addo insisted the grounds are good for Nana Akufo-Addo and the NPP.

“My husband is not just a family man, he lives and sleep politics … that is a big thing for him. He has always cared about Ghana and has always wanted to [work] for this country”.

“After 59 years of independence, he would want to be given the opportunity to place Ghana on the right spot on the map,” she added.

She, however, decried the political environment which she believes is degenerating as people who barely know Nana Addo say “all sorts of nasty things about him” coupled with terrible propagandas just to win political points.
