Nana Kubra Yeboah is the Chief of Akyem Aboabo-Kingmakers

The kingmakers of Aboabo has confirmed that Nana Ampomah Kubra Yeboah III is the recognized chief of Akyem Aboabo near Akyem Oda in the Kotoku Traditional Area of the Eastern Region.

Nana Ampomah Kubra Yeboah was on February 6, 2012 installed the Chief of Aboabo and swore the oath of allegiance to the Kingmakers at Aboabo Ahenfie, where he was confined and outdoored on March 17, 2012.

He attended a thanksgiving service organised by all churches at Aboabo on April 9, 2012.

Nana Yeboah, who succeeded Nana Ampomah Kubra II, took over the stool property on April 16, 2012 and was accommodated in the palace.

Briefing the Ghana News Agency at Aboabo, the Kingmakers, including the Gyasehene Nana Oduro Twumasi and the Kontihene, Nana Adomako Ankoma, explained that, a media publication in May, 2012 headed “”Akyem Aboabo Installs Two Chiefs” was an error.

They said the alleged other chief, Oti Peprah, who was installed by the Queenmother Owusuaa Akoto in April has not been presented to them nor to the State (Oman) and that he is not known in the community.**
