Nana Addo’s ‘Zongo’ Development Fund is not a rhetoric- Mustapha Ahmed

A spokesperson of the NPP’s presidential candidate, Mustapha Ahmed says Nana Addo’s proposed endowment fund for Zongo and some deprived communities in the country is not a political rhetoric.

Speaking on ‘Behind The News’, Mr. Mustapha said resourcing of the fund will be provided through the consolidated Fund.

According to him, Nana Addo’s primary objective is to bring parity in all facets of national life.

In a sharp rebuttal, the Eastern Regional Secretary of the NDC, Anthony Gyampo said it is a calculated attempt of the NPP to woo the people of the Zongo Community to vote for the party, noting that the NPP is on record for performing abysmally in Zongo Communities.**
