Nana Addo’s residence under heavy security

Residents, drivers and workers who ply the road leading to President-elect, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s private residence at Nima in Accra now have to find alternative routes.

The residence of the NPP candidate in the 2016 election has been marked a high security zone.

Following the former Attorney General’s election victory, the immediate area to the home of the next First Family of Ghana has been cordoned off, and security presence increased.

Drivers working at Starr FM, Star assurance and other companies who until December 9 drove in front of Nana Addo’s house as their normal route to work will now have to drive through Nima roundabout through to De Youngsters and Maxlot hotel stretch before accessing their offices.

According to some drivers who spoke to GHOne News, they find it worrying driving very close to Nana Addo’s residence only to be turned away. They say although they have accepted the new directive, they expect the police service to publicize the new security arrangement.
