Nana Addo’s man defects to Alan’s camp

Former Ashanti Regional spokesperson for Nana Akufo-Addo in 2007, Sam David Osei has asked the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to vote Alan Kwadwo Kyerematen as the party’s flag bearer for the 2012 elections.

“I have decided to throw my support behind Mr. Alan Kwadwo Kyerematen this time and to work assiduously to ensure that he is chosen by delegates to lead the party to recapture the power blown away in the last election.”

“I strongly believe now that our dear great Osono party will only return to power if we choose Mr. Kyerematen as flag bearer on the grounds that he is the only aspiring candidate who possesses the quality and leadership that can return the party to power,” David Osei noted in a news release issued over the weekend.

He said he finds it disheartening to hear people from the other side of the campaign trying to smear Mr. Kyerematen for no apparent reason.

David Osei said Mr. Kyerematen is the best person to lead the NPP because he believes in job and wealth creation, empowerment of the youth for national development, strengthening party structures from the polling station level to the national chair and has a campaign message that has always dwelt on enhancing the capacity of those at the polling station level.

He continued that Mr. Kyeremanten has endeared himself to floating voters. This is the key to our return to power plus he has the energy to run the campaign effectively if given the nod.

“I stake my claim on Mr. Kyerematen because from my experience, he is the best candidate of all the contestants in the field today.

Mr. Kyerematen stands head above shoulders among all the others and I plead with the delegates to vote for him on August 7 2010, to enable the NPP return to power to satisfy the wishes of the majority of Ghanaians,” David Osei concluded in his news release.
