Nana Addo‘s ‘Magnet’ pulls thousands as he tours Ashanti region

The entire Offinso South Constituency in the Ashanti Region was shaken to its roots as political bigwigs of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) led by its flag bearer Nana Akufo –Addo stormed the Constituency to reaffirm the party’s commitment to improve upon the economic fortunes of the nation, if it wins the December polls.

Walking through the principal streets and some farming communities in the Constituency, the presidential hopeful attracted people from all walks of life amid dancing and tooting of horns, which brought the entire township to a standstill.

Addressing constituents, Nana Addo urged them to ignore what he described as “the ugly noises” of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) and vote massively for the NPP in December.

The flag bearer insisted that the free SHS policy will come into fruition, if only the electorate endorse his candidature.

“.. Because of their dubious ways they do not believe that it is possible to execute the free education, free maternal care and the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS), you just preach the message of the NPP to your friends and families, and together we change the destiny of the people of this country” he said.

Nan Addo argued: “We are where we are today all because of the bad leadership and policies of the NDC, we need good policies to move our country forward, the NPP will not govern this country on lies, insults and fraud but with good governance and the rule of law”.

He further pledged to implement policies that will improve upon the lot of Zongo communities, stressing that “no sector of the economy or group of persons shall be left out in the rebuilding of the nation.”

For his part, the Parliamentary Candidate for the party in the Constituency, Ben Abdallah promised to lobby for more developmental projects to be undertaken in the area if the NPP assume office.
