Nana Addo’s Free SHS Policy is Sakawa – Prez Mahama

President John Dramani Mahama, flagbearer for the ruling National Democratic Congress has urged NDC supporters to forget about Nana Addo’s ‘free educations’ mantra.

He said because Nana Addo and the NPP want power at all cost they have resorted to making unrealistic promises just to get the attention of the voters.

“Because he wants power, he is preaching free education, but I say it is ‘sakawa’ and shouldn’t be trusted”, President Mahama said.

He said the NDC was not in the habit of deceiving the electorate; making promises that was clearly unrealistic in this time…”We will not tell you lies, we have always told Ghanaians the truth and we tell you what we can and will do but not to throw dust into your eyes”

The president who was addressing a rally in Kumasi said the NDC has better policies and has a demonstrable record of fulfilling the promises they make. He said the NDC’s three and a half years in office has seen tremendous improvements in the lives of the people of Ghana.

President Mahama highlighted some achievements the government has made on in Obuasi but acknowledged that a lot was yet to be done.

He was on his Ashanti Regional campaign tour, which started in Juasu, Mampong, New Edubiase, Akrofuom, Fomena and Obuasi.

He was flanked by ace comedian Bishop Bob Okala and Clement Bonney a.k.a Mr. Beautiful.

With him on the campaign were ace comedian Bishop Bob Okala and Clement Bonney a.k.a Mr. Beautiful, Asiedu Nketia Mosquito, H.E Nana Ohene Agyekum, Hon. Betty Mould Iddrisu, Hon. Joe Gidisu and the Ashanti Regional executives of the NDC.
