Nana Addo consoles family of NDC candidate for Shai Osudoku

Leader of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has sent his sympathies to the family of National Democratic Congress’ parliamentary candidate for Shai Osudoku Constituency, Desmond William Ocloo.

Mr Ocloo met his untimely death on Thursday, March 3 in a motor accident on the Accra-Kumasi road.

In a statement issued on Friday, March 4, Nana Addo said: “I have learnt with sadness of the tragic passing of the National Democratic Congress’ parliamentary candidate for the Shai Osudoku constituency, Desmond William Ocloo, which occurred last night, Thursday, March 3, 2016.”

Nana Addo recalls how he met the late politician on Friday, February 5 at a funeral in Osuwem.

It was the funeral of the late Paramount Chief and former President of the Shai Osudoku Traditional Area, Nene Klagbordjor V.

“I met him at Osuwem in the company of Hon. E.T. Mensah, Member of Parliament for Ningo/Prampram, and struck up a pleasant relationship.

“I extend sincere condolences to his family and the NDC on this unfortunate accident.”
