Nana Aba Anamoah campaigns for mental health care

Journalist and television personality Nana Aba Anamoah has begun a social media campaign to compel government to pay more attention to mental health in the country.

Nana Aba wants government to send drugs to the Accra Psychiatric hospital. Nurses of the facility on Monday began a strike over what they describe as unfavourable working conditions.

The workers say they can no longer cope with the neglect of the facility and mental health in the country hence their decision to embark on the strike.

Following this, GHOne Television’s Nana Aba Anamoah and her colleagues have decided to do whatever it takes to get the needed attention for mental health in Ghana.
